Former Slovak Police Corps President Milan Lučanský will be remanded in custody as well as four other people detained as part of the police action codenamed 'Judas'. On Sunday, a pre-trial judge of the Specialised Criminal Court also decided to remand in custody Slovak Intelligence Service deputy director Boris Beňa, former counter-intelligence chief Peter Gašparovič and police investigator Marián Kučerka and former police officer Ladislav Vičan. All the aforementioned persons immediately appealed against the decision to the Supreme Court. Earlier this week, the court decided to remand in custody also the Financial Administration Daniel Čech and former director of the police's Office for Special Operations Jozef Rehák. Moreover, controversial businessman Norber Bödör is also being charged in this case, however, he is already in custody as he has been charged in another cases. All the aforementioned figures are facing accusations of corruption.
Thus, Slovakia currently has no Police Corps President and the last two people serving in this post are in custody.
