Towns and municipalities are ready to continue co-operating in countrywide testing but demand the accelerated reimbursement of costs for the first and second rounds, Slovak Towns Union spokeswoman Daniela Pirselova told the TASR press agency in response to the possible implementation of additional rounds of mass testing. According to the union, the practice of previous rounds of mass testing has shown that towns can be as co-operative as possible but they need clear and fair communication from the state. Prime Minister Igor Matovic (OLaNO) stated on Thursday that another round of countrywide mass testing for COVID-19 should take place before Christmas.
