Slovak Foreign Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok (an SaS nominee) stated on Tuesday that Slovak diplomacy is closely monitoring the current course of events in Nagorno-Karabakh. "As for the recently achieved agreement, the most important thing in my opinion is that the truce that forms part of the agreement should be of a lasting nature," stated Korčok, adding that all military operations must be halted first in order to allow for a political settlement of the conflict.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced on Tuesday that he's signed a 'painful' agreement on halting the conflict in the region with Azerbaijan and Russia, agreeing to a total ceasefire as of November 10.
