Education minister Branislav Grohling (SaS) on Tuesday presented his education reform to President Zuzana Čaputová, who perceives it as a worthy springboard for the modernisation and improvement of the sector.
"I perceive its aims regarding management, digitisation and curriculum reform, from pre-school education up to the reform of universities and the standing of teachers, as a worthy springboard for modernisation and improvement, in such manner as will support and nurture the potential of every child and student," Čaputová posted on Facebook.
The President pointed out that the reform may be kickstarted also by virtue of the EU recovery fund. The project is to be unveiled to the public soon. Čaputová voiced her appreciation of the fact that the minister and his team have been actively addressing the education of children, as well as the issue of the poorest also having access to education during the coronavirus outbreak.
