Slovakia Condemns terrorist attacks in France

President Zuzana Caputova condemned the "recent abhorrent terrorist attacks" in Nice, France, that claimed three lives earlier on Thursday. "In these difficult times, Slovakia stands in solidarity with our friend, partner and ally. There must be zero tolerance for extremism in any form," wrote Caputova in a Twitter post. Prime Minister Igor Matovic expressed his support for French President Emmanuel Macron in the fight against extremism claiming that the murder "is an attack against EU values, our values. They must be protected." Chief of Slovak diplomacy Ivan Korcok voiced support for France following the "attack against humanity and our values".
