A total of 10,000 new tulips will start blooming in Bratislava in the spring, as the Dutch Embassy has donated them to the capital, Bratislava city council posted on a social network on Wednesday. The embassy will also become involved in the city's 10,000 trees initiative, namely by donating 2,000 trees. The 10,000 donated tulip bulbs of a special variety called "Slovensko" began to be planted on Bratislava's Námestie Slobody Square on Wednesday morning.
