The minimum wage in 2021 will rise to €623 per month (gross) from the current €580, which means that it will equal 57 percent of the average salary in 2019, as Parliament on Tuesday approved a new bill on the minimum wage. The bill, among other things, will set a fixed amount of allowances for weekend and night shifts. Meanwhile, the minimum hourly wage will reach €3.58 per hour.
