Average real monthly salaries rose year-on-year in August in retail by 3.8 percent, in restaurants and pubs by 3.6 percent, in wholesale by 2.4 percent, in construction and in information and communications activities by 1 percent each, and in the sale and repair of motor vehicles by 0.6 percent. Conversely, average real monthly salaries fell in accommodation services by 6.7 percent, in transport and warehousing by 2.7 percent, in industry by 1.7 percent, and in selected market services by 0.2 percent.
