Slovakia should continue to cooperate with the European Space Agency (ESA) in the upcoming years, with Slovakia becoming an associate member, the government agreed on Wednesday. The Slovak Republic is to provide ESA with a binding opinion by 8 October. The five-year cooperation between the Slovak Republic and ESA, based on the European Cooperating States Agreement signed in 2015 and its financial implementation applicable as of 2016, will expire on 3 February 2021. 39 projects with a total price tag of €5,443,802 are currently financed within the framework of a five-year Plan for a European Cooperating State in Slovakia.
