Slovakia to collaborate with Belgium in investigation into death of Jozef Chovanec

Representatives of the Slovak and Belgian prosecutor's offices concluded an agreement to collaborate in the investigation into the death of Slovak national Jozef Chovanec at the hands of Belgian police. The meeting between Slovak and Belgian judicial authorities was held on September 28 in Brussels. In February 2018, Jozef Chovanec died following an incident with the Belgian police at Charleroi Airport. According to an official report, he died of a heart attack.
