Young Slovak reporters for the environment have won 2 first places and 2 third places in the International Young Reporters for the Environment Competition 2020. Slovakia has thus become the most successful country participating in the competition, informed Richard Medal from the Centre for Environmental Activities in Trenčín.
The Slovaks received awards for three articles dealing with cigarette butts, missing containers for old clothes and retaining rainwater in cities. The jury also appreciated one video about problems with polystyrene insulation for apartment buildings, Medal explained.
