Slovak Foreign Minister Ivan Korcok (SaS nominee) has attended a meeting at the invitation of the Slovenian ministerial partner Anze Logar, which was also attended by foreign ministers from the Czech Republic and Austria. "In the challenging times we are currently experiencing, cooperation between the countries of our region has an even greater added value. Therefore, I am pleased that today we were able to exchange experience with regard to the post-crisis economic recovery, which is one of the main challenges facing our countries," said Korcok. The meeting also confirmed that all participating countries desire a common approach in the fight against the second wave of the pandemic. The ministers also addressed current events in Belarus. "We are shocked by what is happening in Belarus, right here in our neighbourhood, so it is important that next Monday we will have the opportunity to approve sanctions at the European Union's Foreign Affairs Council, which will be directed at the regime and not at the people," the foreign minister concluded.
