No support for setting up Voice caucus

The governing coalition won't support the setting up of a parliamentary caucus for the Voice-Social Democracy party that includes a group of MPs surrounding former premier Peter Pellegrini, TASR learnt from representatives of the governing parties on Wednesday. Opposition party Smer-SD doesn't appear to be keen on backing the setting up of a caucus for its defectors, either, with party spokesman Jan Mazgut telling TASR on Wednesday that Smer generally doesn't vote for the creation of caucuses for parties that weren't elected in a general election. The two strongest governing parties - OlaNO and We Are Family - made a similar point last week. Pellegrini said that he would request that Parliament okay the setting up of a caucus for Voice on Wednesday.
