Former Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko remains the chairman of the extra-parliamentary Slovak National Party (SNS), as the party's delegates decided at the party congress last weekend. Danko defeated SNS vice-chair Anton Hrnko in the election. Danko has been in this post since 2012. In 2016, the party made it into parliament with 8.64% after a four year break, however, after the General Election in 2020, SNS stayed out of the house with 3.16%.
