A 7 year old girl died after falling from the 8th floor window of a hospital in Poprad, eastern Slovakia, on Thursday. After having been hospitalised on Wednesday with an asthma attack, she climbed onto a window sill and fell out of the open window. The hospital expressed their sympathies to the family, however, refused to comment on the case at this stage of the inquiry. According to its spokesperson, the hospital adopted safety measures in the past by removing the window handles from the children's wards. The parents of the Roma child will file a complaint against the hospital and the nurses in charge.
