Alena Zsuzsova charged in the case of journalist Jan Kuciak's murder was released following Thursday's acquittal by the Specialised Criminal Court from the Leopoldov prison, however, she was immediately detained by the police again as she is also accused in cases of other murders. She is also charged as a mediator in the murder of former Hurbanovo mayor Laszlo Basternak. The ex-mayor was murdered on July 9, 2010 in front of his house. In addition, she is also accused of preparing the murders of Special Prosecutor's Office prosecutor Maros Zilinka, Prosecutor-General's Office prosecutor Peter Sufliarsky and lawyer Daniel Lipsic.
