Former chair of the Social Democratic and Christian Union (SDKU) parliamentary caucus and currently Independent MP Lucia Žitňanská has joined the Most-Hid party, according to the press agency TASR.
Under an agreement that she has reportedly struck with the Opposition party led by Bela Bugar, former two-time justice minister Žitňanská is slated to be appointed Most-Hid’s vice-chair for justice in September. She ran unsuccessfully for SDKU's top post in May 2012, losing in the second round to Pavol Frešo. Last December she left the party along with fellow MPs Magdalena Vášáryová and Miroslav Beblavy.
