Even though the Slovak International Air Fest (SIAF), which takes place every year around this time, cannot take place this summer due to the coronavirus outbreak, the organisers of the biggest Slovak festival of aviation have decided that they will stream nine hours of footage containing the best moments from previous years on the internet, announced event organiser Andrej Brnik.
"Aviation aficionados will be able to enjoy a nine-hour-long livestream capturing 36 display shows performed by pilots from Slovakia, Poland, the Czech Republic, France, Italy and the United Arab Emirates. We believe that SIAF fans will be pleased by the guests who will be invited to the studio. The icing on the cake will be that pilots who performed individual displays will provide a commentary on them," stated Brnik, adding that the stream will begin on August 29.
