1.426 million Slovak pensioners are to receive a thirteenth monthly pension from the Social Insurance Agency in November. The sum varies from €50 to €300.
Pensioners who receive a pension benefit of €214.80 or less are to be entitled to a €300 pension. With a pension of €300, the pensioner will receive €269.34, with a pension of €400, the thirteenth pension will amount to €233.34, and with a pension of €500, the Social Insurance Agency will pay the thirteenth pension in the amount of €197.34. With a pension of €909.28 or more, the thirteenth pension will reach €50.
€307.5 million is to be spent on thirteenth pensions this year. This follows from the bill on the thirteenth pension, which was approved by the government on Wednesday. In order for the bill to come into force, it still needs to be approved by the parliament.
