The maximum loan for undergraduate university students will increase to €4,000 and to €7,000 for post graduate students. This represents a rise of €500 and €1,000 respectively. As Jana Zvozilová of the Education Support Fund said, another change is the adjustment and simplification of the conditions that must be met by the guarantor. "The student can use the funds from the provided loan for anything," Zvozilová remarked. At the same time, there has been a significant increase in funding for student loans to € 6 million, which is € 1.5 million more than in the previous academic year. Thus, the Education Support Fund expects to provide loans to 2,000 students, who can apply for them in two terms - until September 15 and October 31.
The Fund also published the conditions for submitting applications for a stabilization loan intended for students of the field of nursing in the first stage of full-time study.
