The impact of a potential Winter Olympic Games partly organised in Slovakia's Low Tatra mountains will be subject to a comprehensive feasibility study, following a decision made by representatives of the Slovak Preparatory Committee for the 2022 Winter Olympic Games in Krakow and officials from the Environment Ministry at their co-ordination meeting on Thursday.
If Poland and Slovakia manage to emerge as winners in their joint Olympic bid, one of the sixteen Winter Olympic disciplines will be held at the Slovak ski resort of Jasna in the Low Tatras. Outcomes of the study will be used to compete the bid.
