Deputy Interior Minister was secret Military Intelligence agent

Deputy Interior Minister Lukáš Kyselica ran for Parliament as a secret member of Military Intelligence, wrote the Denník N daily on Monday. This act breaches the Basic principles of Military Intelligence, political neutrality in particular. As the daily wrote, not even his colleagues from the Ordinary People party knew it. Kyselica himself refused to comment the information stating that by doing so he would breach the Law on Classified Information stating questions of this kind should be addressed to the Defence Ministry. Interior Minister Roman Mikulec said that from his function he is not allowed to know who is or has been a member of Military Intelligence.

Kyselica worked in the position from October 2019, when he officially left the Police until March 2020, when he accepted the decree of a newly elected MP.
