On Thursday, the Speaker of Parliament and leader of the now non-parliamentary Slovak National Party party Andrej Danko gave his testimony as a witness to the National Criminal Agency (NAKA). "I explained my stance regarding the matter of Mr. (Milan) Čuba," Danko said. According to aktuality.sk, Milan Čuba was officially employed by the state-owned Tipos lottery company, yet almost no one on the staff saw or knew him. As of April 2017, Čuba became an advisor to former general director Ján Barczi, earning a monthly salary of more than €3,000. The police are now investigating whether Čuba's employment was not on paper only. Aktuality.sk reported that Čuba conceded that he had been tipped off about the job in Tipos by Danko.
