The Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Family is gradually starting to implement projects aimed at improving the qualifications and activities of the young unemployed. Together with the Centre for Labour, Social Affairs and the Family, the ministry is therefore launching the "Through Practice to Employment 2" project, which will support the creation of some 1,000 jobs for young people without work experience. Employers who are interested in employing a young unemployed person under the age of 29 and offering him or her an internship can ask the labour office for a financial contribution to his or her salary, as well as mentoring.
"The condition is that the employer will create a new job for him for at least six months, or for an indefinite period, while financial contributions for this job will be provided for a maximum of nine months," the ministry's press release states.
