Slovak Prime Minister Igor Matovič is attending the EU summit in Brussels. The main talks at the summit concern the EU recovery plan and the long-term budget. The agenda of Igor Matovič in Brussels is to negotiate a deal that would secure the original 8 billion euro from the recovery plan. According to the Slovak PM, "Slovakia needs every single euro available". While meeting the European council president Charles Michel and the head of Commission Ursula Von der Leyen on Thursday, Matovič even suggested that if the budget and other negotiations should take longer than expected, the summit should turn into a conclave, with limited food and drinks for the EU leaders.
