The United States will give to Slovakia as a gift more than 13,000 surgical facemasks, 600 medical protective suits and other items to fight against the novel coronavirus. This follows from an agreement signed by Health Minister Marek Krajči (OĽaNO) and the US Ambassador to Slovakia Bridget Brink on Wednesday. According to Ambassador Brink, the protective items, provided by the US military, will be used by Slovak health personnel. Procured by the US Department of Defence, the protective items will be handed over to the Slovak side on July 21.
