V4 countries to discuss long-term EU budget 2021-2027

Slovak Prime Minister Igor Matovic and the prime ministers of the Czech Republic, Andrej Babis, and of Hungary, Viktor Orban, will be welcomed by Polish Premier Morawiecki and President Andrzej Duda on Friday. The key topics of the meeting will be the European Union's multi-annual financial framework for 2021-27 and the recovery fund, which is intended to help European Union-member states restart their economies affected by the novel coronavirus outbreak. The heads of governments will also address the migration situation and other current European issues. On this occasion, Babis will formally hand over the rotating presidency of the Visegrad Four to Poland. Poland officially took over the annual presidency of the group on July 1.
