The Dean of Slovak Technical University's (STU) Faculty of Informatics and Information Technologies, Ivan Kotuliak, survived a no-confidence vote held by the university's academic senate on Monday. A total of 26 academic employees are leaving FIIT STU, including two-thirds of all professors, senior lecturers and several guarantors of study programmes. They are all resigning due to disagreements with the FIIT dean, which have been ongoing for several months and saw a faculty strike that was quelled only by the outbreak of the coronavirus.
