The Interior Ministry's Inspection Office on Wednesday detained a former senior member of the Police Corps, identified only as Pavol V., in connection with the investigation into the illegal screening of journalists, TASR learnt from the ministry on the same day. Pavol V. has been charged with misusing his powers, and he is also facing charges of the unauthorised handling of personal data concerning people other than journalists.
