The Statistics Office has launched the first-ever digital count of houses and flats, calling it the most extensive project in its history. The project has been underway since June 1. The first phase dealing with real estate is to be followed in February 2021 with a population census. "The main aim is to acquire objective data on, for instance, the age structure of houses and flats, their surface areas, forms of ownership, number of bedrooms or heating systems," reads the text provided by the Statistics Office.
