RTVS seen as most objective TV news broadcaster

According to a Median SK survey, public broadcaster Radio and Television Slovakia (RTVS) produced the most objective television news broadcasts in the first quarter of 2020, closely followed by private television channel Markiza. RTVS's news broadcasts were perceived as the most objective by 22.4 percent of the respondents. Markiza was a close second at 21.9 percent, while private television station JOJ completed the top three, being chosen by 18.7 percent of the respondents. News-only channel TA3 was considered to be the most objective by 18.1 percent, while 2.9 percent chose some other television channel. 15.2 percent didn't provide any answer. The survey was carried out between January-March 2020 on a sample of 2,079 respondents aged between 14-79. They were allowed to pick only one television channel.
