No deadline yet for parking policy in Bratislava

For the time being, the city of Bratislava cannot confirm the date of the launch of the city-wide new parking policy. Its introduction was planned for 2021 but now the Bratislava City Hall estimates that effects of the corona crisis on the city mean huge revenue shortfalls, and therefore currently cannot estimate adequately how much money it can allocate to launching a parking policy. "We are currently in the middle of the process of procuring the software core of the parking system and other competitions for related services are being prepared in parallel, such as transport organization projects and traffic surveys for new parking zones, payment gateway, mobile application and parking meters," said Bratislava City spokeswoman Katarína Rajčanová.
