The employment rate in the majority of sectors continued to fall in April, with pubs and restaurants and accommodation being the most negatively affected fields with a 9.3 and 7.5 percent decrease respectively, according to the most recent data published by the Statistics Office on Friday. On year on year basis employment increased only in the IT sector, namely by 4.8 percent.
