Ryanair is gearing up to resume about 40 percent of its flights. The Cypriot airline Cyprus Airways has cancelled all flight plans from Bratislava this year due to the coronavirus outbreak. On the other hand, Wizz Air will launch regular flights to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia as of June 15. As of late June, regular flights are also planned by Smartwings airline.
Kosice airport is partly resuming its operation after three months, with flights being resumed on the Kosice-Prague route operated by Czech Airlines, the airport announced in connection with the loosening of restrictive coronavirus measures on Tuesday. The first flight is scheduled for June 15. The next airline to resume its flights from Kosice will be Austrian Airlines, operating the Vienna-Kosice line. The first flights are scheduled for June 22.
