63% of pupils returned to primary schools “after Corona“

A total of 90.5% of primary schools and 80.6% of kindergartens in Slovakia were opened during the first week starting on June 1, after loosening the measures to limit the spreading of Coronavirus, the Education Ministry reported. The Slovak Government closed schools in mid-March. With the return of pupils being voluntary, however, only 50% returned to kindergartens and 63% came back to primary schools, where only the first five grades opened.
