On Monday, the leader of the far-right People's Party Our Slovakia Marian Kotleba questioned the partiality of judge Ružena Sabová, who is dealing with his case. Kotleba is charged with taking a liking to the movements aimed at repressing fundamental rights and freedoms because he awarded cheques with an amount allegedly infused with neo-Nazi symbolism to three poor families in 2017. Kotleba thinks that Sabová is biased against him, claiming that she instructed an expert and that they met on a rest day. Sabová rejected Kotleba's claims, stating that her communications with the expert have been completely transparent and are therefore detailed in the criminal file. "If there was any personal bias on my part, this communication would not be part of the criminal file.
