As of Friday morning, Slovakia has opened its borders with Austria and Hungary. All people with permanent or temporary residence in Austria, Hungary or the Czech Republic can enter Slovakia without the obligation to quarantine or submit a negative COVID-19 test. Those who do not have that card showing their permanent or temporary residence, must prove their stay with at least two documents (eg. health insurance card, tenancy agreement, employment contract, letter proving ownership of real estate intended for housing, trade license, confirmation of owning a bank account in that particular country, insurance contract).
