Psychology expert testifies in Kuciak murder case

"Self-assured, frivolous, daring, egocentric personality with narcissistic traits" is the description of Marián Kočner's personality profile according to the expert in psychology Elena Fortis, who testified in the journalist murder case on Monday. Despite Kočner refusing to discuss the case with her, the task of the psychologist was to evaluate whether there was a possibility of Kočner's resocialization, regarding the imposition of a life sentence. If Kočner is found guilty, the psychologist considers his resocialization to be possible. According to Fortis, the motive behind ordering journalist's murder may have been a threat to Kočner's property. She also describes Kočner as a conflictual type, easily insulted with a lack of empathy. Marián Kočner is accused of ordering the hit on journalist Ján Kuciak in retaliation for Kuciak's reporting on his economic criminal activities.
