Businessman Andrej Kiska, an independent candidate, has won the second round of Presidential elections in Slovakia with 59,4 percent of the vote.
His counter-candidate, Prime Minister Robert Fico, supported by the social-democrats, gathered the sympathy of 40,6 percent of the electorate.
