200 professional soldiers will be able to help the Police Corps to patrol borders until the end of 2021 after the Slovak Government approved this motion on Tuesday. This will mainly concern Slovakia's border with Ukraine.
"Professional soldiers will be assigned for the necessary time and for the purpose of eliminating possible threats in connection with the illegal overflights of aircraft across the external border, the illegal crossing of Slovak external borders and unauthorized secondary movements across the Slovak internal border,"reads the material.
