Ján Hečko, the man who notably undersold two lucrative flats in Bratislava city centre to the son of the former State Material Reserves Administration (SSHR) head Kajetán Kičura, has been found hanged at a cottage in Oščadnica, Žilina region. "The coroner summoned to the scene provisionally excluded foul play and ordered an autopsy. Nevertheless, the police will investigate suspicions of homicide," stated Žilina Police Corps spokesperson Jana Balagová.
Kičura has been charged with bribery and the legalisation of income from criminal activities in the meantime and is now being prosecuted while in custody.
