Updates on Brexit as well as the crisis associated with COVID-19 were the two main topics of Wednesday's phone discussion between Foreign and European Affairs Minister Ivan Korčok and Michel Barnier, the European Commission's Head of Task Force for Relations with the United Kingdom. According to Korčok, the complex negotiations connected with Brexit continue and it is in the interest of both parties to avoid the worst case scenario, and that is the UK's departure without an agreement. The economy was also one of the topics discussed by the head of the Slovak diplomacy and Barnier, where both partners agreed that post-Brexit economic relations must ensure equal conditions for all economic players, companies and businesses on both sides.
