The reasons for needing a fast-tracked legislative procedure must be clear even during the time of the coronavirus outbreak, and should not raise any questions about its purpose, President Zuzana Caputova wrote on a social network following her meeting with Vice-premier for Legislation and Strategic Planning Stefan Holy (We Are Family) on Tuesday. Holy assured the president that he considers the institution of a fast-tracked legislative procedure to be an exceptional instrument only, the use of which must be duly justified.
