The government led by Igor Matovič has gained the confidence of the Slovak parliament. On Thursday, 93 of the 141 MPs that took part in the vote supported the Government Manifesto, thus expressing their confidence in the new Government. 48 MPs were against, no one abstained. Among the priorities of the greenlighted manifesto are the fight against corruption and transparency in public finances, ensuring equality before the law and increasing the public trust in the state.
