Moratorium on rent payments in place until June 30th

A moratorium on rent payments has been imposed by the Government and will be in force between April 1st - June 30th as part of measures to relieve businesses amid the coronavirus-induced crisis, said Labour Minister Milan Krajniak (We Are Family) on Thursday. Krajniak explained that those who are unable to pay their rent during this period will be allowed to pay it in instalments as of July until the end of the year. In addition, lease-providers are forbidden from evicting tenants from flats or business facilities until the end of the year due to late rent payments during the moratorium.
