Carmaker Jaguar Land Rover plans to relaunch production at its European plants as of May 18, with its facilities in Nitra, Solihull in the UK's West Midlands and Austria to be among the first ones back in operation, said Nitra plant spokesperson Miroslava Remenárová on Thursday. "We've recorded a revival in the sales of vehicles in China, with customers already returning to our showrooms. Our joint venture plant in Changshu has been made operational again as of mid-February," said Remenárová, adding that the relaunch of production in Europe will depend on how individual countries relax their anti-coronavirus measures.
