This Thursday, the streets of Slovak towns were supposed to be filled with volunteers selling yellow daffodils, as part of the fundraising campaign for cancer patients. However, the situation around the new coronavirus pandemic has changed the annual event, resulting in the so-called Daffodil Day being postponed to the autumn. However, the Slovak League against Cancer, which organizes the collection, put together in cooperation with the Health Ministry an educational video for cancer patients and their family members about how to deal with the situation regarding the new coronavirus. Moreover, the Slovak League against Cancer accepts donations year-round via its website or through 2% of tax assignation.
