Following moderate growth in January, revenues in industry reported a year-on-year drop of 2.2 percent in February, the Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday. This was largely due to decreases in supplies of electricity, gas, steam and cold air by 8.7 percent and in water supplies, sewage water disposal and waste disposal by 10.3 percent. Revenues for own goods and activities posted a month-on-month drop in all selected sectors of the economy in February, with industry showing the deepest drop of 3.9 percent.
