The police have recorded 803 misdemeanours concerning mandatory quarantine, 218 violations of the obligation to close restaurants during the coronavirus outbreak, two cases of scare-mongering and three cases of spreading an infectious disease. Slovak Interior Minister Roman Mikulec has vowed that the police will also duly oversee the mandatory use of face masks in public. The minister went on to warn the public that if the measures currently in force aren't properly observed, the state will be forced to introduce even "more drastic measures".
