A total of 74 tonnes of medical material from China was transported to Slovakia on Wednesday. "Professional soldiers helped with the transport of the medical material, designed to help fight the new coronavirus, from Bratislava airport [to the State Material Reserves Administration premises]," declared Defence Minister Jaroslav Naď (OLaNO). The transport of medical material was carried out via the NATO-SALIS programme with the use of large-capacity aircraft. "The delivery contains face masks, gloves and protective bio suits," added León Zázrivý of the Defence Ministry press department.
